As Liz nears retirement, she looks back at her career with dear friend and colleague, Justyna. Once Liz discovered social work was a career option, she knew it was for her. She began her career working with battered women before moving on to work in substance abuse, mental health, and the last leg of her career in hospice. One of the things she loves about her work in hospice is connecting to people who might not otherwise have that connection. Liz also wants people to know they don’t need to be afraid of hospice care.
