  • Featuring: Chad Ricks & Montserrat Archila
  • Date Submitted: Nov 8, 2022
  • Location: California

Chad, the clinical director of operations at Providence, Eureka (Calif.), first met Montserrat when she asked him to join the Northern California Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee for Providence. He shares with her the historical significance of Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of African American slaves, and why he views it as a time of reflection and oneness. It’s a celebratory time to walk together in fellowship, friendship, and love.
