Joey has been coming to Providence Mount St. Vincent (The Mount, a skilled nursing facility and preschool) since he was a baby. His parents were volunteers there and would let the residents hold him. As he got older, he continued coming with his father, visiting with the residents. By age 12, Joey became an official volunteer and eight years later he got a job working in the cafeteria.
