The lure of intergenerational learning

Joan was encouraged to apply for a new position as child care director at what was then the new Intergenerational Learning Center at Providence Mount St. Vincent, a skilled nursing facility and preschool. Initially, there was resistance about mixing kids with seniors, but they quickly saw the value of having these two generations interact.
